Sommerz

Sommerz is the name of the Eurasian Club's Diner.

It is located behind the primary school of COnvent Pulau Tikus on Lorong Maktab. It is also possible to drive there, but it is a dead end road there so leaving would be slightly difficult. THe place is rather hidden, but it is walking distance if you park your car at Lorong Maktab or College Square.

If the gate of the new church car park is open, Just walk to the end and there is a small gate to your right. Go in that gate and there will be another gate to your left, go through that and VOILA you are there.

If you plan on drivin there, i think its the road called Lorong Leandro. You can see a meditation signboard on the small narrow road which is just slightly after Lorong Maktab.

The place is run by the Scully Family. Serves western cuisine. They have jamming sessions on Friday nights and all musicians are welcomed to go there and jam with the musicians.

Food:

I had the pork roast, with salad and stuffing with lychee green tea - RM 8.90 + 2.80
My mother had chicken devil curry with apple juice - RM 6.80 + 4.00
My dad had the chicken chop with oriental sauce - RM 6.80 (take away)

Pork Roast:
The meat was tender and sweet. The gravy from the meat was sweet and nice. The salad was nice when mixed with the gravy. The stuffing was mixed with mashed potatoes and filling.

Lychee green Tea:
Slightly more to the tea-ish tasting with lychee inside.

Chicken Devil Curry:
This dish came with bangkali bread. Its a dish for those salt lovers. Rather it was okay when eaten with the bread but cannot be eaten on its own. Though the bread would have tasted nicer if it came hot from the oven.

Apple Juice:
Slightly too diluted and a bit pricy.

CHicken Chop:
Reasonably Portioned and nice.

*PIctures soon to be uploaded when i steal my brother's digital Camera*
