Salsas Restaurant
My friend had set lunch D: Chicken thigh with mushroom sauce with butter and garlic, side dish: vegetables, salad, ice lemon tea and chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream (dessert) @ MYR 13.50
It was also from a bottle, although it looked diluted, the taste was still there.
Starters:
It didn't look fresh and the butter was looking "soggy". The bun was cold.
-Soup-
Main Course:
-Lamb Pepperpot With Garlic Bread-
The lamb was tender but the smell was still there. It didn't absorb the taste of the soup. The soup was slightly salty.
-Garlic Bread-
The bread had not much garlic scent and didn't even taste like garlic at ALL. It was just buttery and salty.
-Chicken Thigh In Mushroom Sauce With Vegetables-
The chicken tasted like the normal fried chicken anyone can buy from street vendors at night markets. Reminded me of the yellow fried chicken they used to sell during my school days. The vegetables were SALTY and way too BUTTERY.
The plate they used was too big for the medium sized dish, making it look even more petite than it actually is.
-Chocolate Cake With Cherry & Vanilla Ice Cream-
Overall review:
Cleanliness was sloppy as the serviette was crumpled and we only had 1 serviette placed there. There was dust on the table and some dirt under the salt & pepper shakers holder. Service was moderately average.
They do charge service charge & government tax. They accept cash & credit card.
