Xuan Xin Buffet Steamboat
Location: Next to Hong Kong Hotel, Tanjung Tokong, Penang.
Tel. No.: +604-899 6833
You need to call to make reservations in advanced and try to be early if you are going there for dinner. Reach about 6 to get parking so that it will be easy for you to leave when you're done.
Charges: MYR 27.50 (adult) , MYR 12.00 (Child) [not so sure about the children price but its somewhere around there]
INside they have teppan yaki style (this one is the best so far) and they have non stop flow of seafood and meat for the steamboat.
They have 2 types of soups for the steamboat, I took half tom yam, half chicken. The tom yam was suitable to boil the food in but not to drink as it was a bit too sweet. Perhaps this was to cater to those who could not take very spicy food.
For the steamboat, I'd suggest you take just the balls and dumplings but not the meats, mushrooms, crabs or veggies as they dont absorb the taste as good as the balls etc plus it be hard to peel crabs.
If you want meat, head down to the teppan yaki corner and fill it up. Dont forget you need to bring along the paper clip from your table which is on the menu to clip it on your plate so that they'll bring the food to you once its ready.
Drinks are free flow. 4 types for that day, but I'm not sure if they change the drink flavours all the time.
They have a separate menu to order extras such as beer etc.

They charge for food wastage of every 100 grams. Its a bit crowded in there at times but the food is good.
Service: Good
